Explanation
(This amendment provides an additional general fund appropriation of $286,007 the first year and $119,148 the second year to the Montpelier Foundation for amounts spent in the restoration of this facility, which was home to James Madison. This appropriation is required by Chapter 470 of the Acts of Assembly of 2005, and augments funding included in the introduced budget for these historic rehabilitation grants.)
