(This amendment provides an additional $300,000 from the general fund each year to supplement private donations and other resources for three Adult Day Break Services in partnership with local churches. Bay Aging Area Agency on Aging will provide health, social, and support services for frail elderly and disabled persons and their caregivers to allow individuals to receive care at home and prevent or delay entry into more expensive institutional settings.)
