Explanation
(This amendment provides $357,531 and 8.00 positions the first year and $585,060 and an additional 4.00 positions the second year to add staffing for the Capitol Police. The additional staffing will be used to provide security services for the new public entrance to the State Capitol, at the Patrick Henry Building, and to provide a roving patrol within Capitol Square during the hours between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. No funding for these positions will be allotted to the agency until such time as the Joint Rules Committee has approved the additional positions.)
