Explanation
(This amendment provides $200,000 the second year from the general fund that will be matched with federal Medicaid dollars for the CHIP of Virginia to expand case management services to an estimated 200 additional pregnant women and children. Currently, the program provides case management services for pregnant women and infants to ensure access to health care services and improve health outcomes through coordinated care and family support services.)
