Explanation
(This amendment provides $250,000 each year from the general fund for Virginia Statewide Area Health Education Centers (AHECs) and reprioritizes how the general fund appropriations for the program should be spent. The Governor's introduced budget reduced the AHECs appropriation by $143,721 the first year and $714,418 the second year.)
