Explanation
(This amendment provides funding to expand the At-Risk Four-Year-Olds Program to serve 80 percent of at-risk four-year-old children unserved with federal funding, and twenty percent of at-risk four-year-old children previously served through federal Title I funding. Currently, the program serves sixty percent of at-risk four-year-old children served with federal funding, although the introduced budget does allow school divisions to use Student Achievement block grant funding to expand preschool programs, including serving children previously served through federal Title I funding.)
