Explanation
(This amendment directs the Supreme Court to reduce criminal fund allocations in an amount that reflects decreased costs due to the creation of a new public defender office to serve the City of Chesapeake. A companion amendment to Item 39 would create the new office, contingent upon passage of House Bill 1384.)
