Page 243, line 3, before "Costs" insert "A.".
Page 243, after line 4, insert:
"B. The Board of Nursing Home Administrators shall promulgate regulations to require licensed nursing home administrators to receive additional human resources management and human relations training with a focus on staff retention, particularly of nursing staff.  The Board shall include provisions in the regulations which specify the amount and level of training to be required as well as the process for designating approved training programs."
Accompanying Budget   “Out of this appropriation, $130,000 (GF) is provided in each year of the biennium for the Board of Nursing to collect, store and make available to interested parties workforce data from registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nurse aides.”

(This amendment is self-explanatory. This is a recommendation of the Joint Commission on Health Care.)
