Explanation
(This amendment provides general fund appropriations for the Nurse Aide Registry, so that renewal fees charged to certified aides for registration may be reduced. Currently, fees are used for education programs, and regulatory activities such as investigation of complaints and adjudication of disciplinary cases.)
