(This amendment provides funds for the establishment of a Consumer Advisory Board, operating under the Department for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. The source of nongeneral funds would be a portion of the telephone line surcharge for the Virginia Relay Service. Of the total, $300,000 per year would pay for staff in support of the board's activities and $500,000 per year would be used to provide information to the public about the Virginia Relay Service.)
