Explanation
(This amendment increases funding for the student internship component of a program to increase underrepresented students in particular programs at Virginia Tech. Currently, funding of $232,500 in each year is provided for both the internship and scholarship program. A companion amendment to Item 240 provides additional funding for the scholarship component of the program.)
