Explanation
(This amendment provides an increase in base funding to promote economic development and technology transfer activities in the region and the Commonwealth by expanding the College's Materials Processing Research Program (MPRP). The MPRP will use its existing expertise and unique tools for applications in medical processes and instruments, including minimally invasive diagnostic and treatment methods for tumors.)
