Explanation
(This amendment is a companion amendment to Item 456 in House Bill 29. The amount for Aid to Localities with Police Departments in House Bill 29 was adjusted to equal the amount approved by the 1999 General Assembly. The adjusted amounts in this amendment result from increasing the appropriation for fiscal year 2000 by the anticipated percentage change in total general fund revenue in House Bill 30, as introduced, pursuant to § 9-183.16, Code of Virginia. The language is amended to indicate that this appropriation is made pursuant to Title 9, Chapter 27, Article 2.2, Code of Virginia.)
