Explanation
(This amendment provides $115,000 the first year from the general fund for the City of Petersburg to match a federal grant of the same amount to construct a fish passage at the Abutment Dam on the Appomattox River. The fish passage will open 121.4 miles of river beyond the dam to provide critical spawning habitat for migratory fish.)
