Explanation
(This amendment adds funds from the federal TANF grant and expands eligibility for child care subsidies. The eligibility threshold in Northern Virginia would be increased from 185 to 200 percent of the federal poverty level. Child care entitlements for former welfare recipients would be increased from 12 to 24 months after time-limited welfare payments expire.)
