Explanation
(This amendment provides funds from the federal TANF grant to continue to meet the local match portion of the Federal Transit Administration's Job Access and Reverse Commute program to support public transit services for low-income individuals. There are currently seven projects being funded with TANF in Urbanna, Charlottesville, Orange County, Petersburg, the Rappahannock Region, Richmond, and Roanoke. Funding would also support new programs in Loudoun and Lynchburg.)
