Explanation
(This amendment provides funding for the design, development, and implementation of a donor registry by the Virginia Department of Health. Design and development of the registry would occur in the first year, along with a status report to the House Appropriations and Senate Finance Committees, and the Joint Commission on Health Care. Implementation and operation of the registry would begin in the second year. This is a recommendation of the Joint Commission on Health Care.)
