Explanation
(This amendment provides funding to the Department for the Aging to increase the number of home-delivered meals provided by area agencies on aging in order to address unmet needs for this service. It is estimated that this funding will provide approximately 983,607 additional home-delivered meals. This is a recommendation of the Joint Commission on Health Care.)
