The Department of Juvenile Justice is authorized to enter into an agreement with the federal government to purchase the Natural Bridge Juvenile Correctional Center property near Natural Bridge Station, Virginia, subject to approval by the Governor, or his designee. At least 30 days prior to final approval of such agreement, the Director shall notify in writing the Chairmen of the Senate Finance and House Appropriations Committees. Once a final agreement is reached, the Governor is authorized to adjust appropriations in this act to provide any funds deemed necessary for the purchase.
