Explanation
(This amendment implements the unanimous recommendation regarding Department of Forestry operations from the Joint Subcommittee Studying the Impact of Satellite Chip Mills (HJR 730). This amendment provides general fund dollars for additional positions and operating support for current mandates dealing with silvicultural water quality law enforcement, wildfire prevention and suppression, and implementation of Virginia's Riparian Buffer Initiative.)
