A. Out of the amount for Disaster Operations shall be paid to the Civil Air Patrol from the general fund $100,000 the first year and $100,000 the second year. The provisions of § 2.1-394.1, Code of Virginia, and § 4-5.07 of this act shall not apply to the Civil Air Patrol.
B. All funds transferred to the Department of Emergency Services pursuant to the Governor's authority under § 44-146.28, Code of Virginia, shall be deposited into a special fund account to be used only for Disaster Recovery.
C. Out of the amount for Financial Assistance for Emergency Management and Response, $125,000 the second year is provided for the purchase of an emergency response vehicle for the Giles County Regional Hazardous Material Team.
D. Included in the amounts for Financial Assistance for Emergency Management and Response is $100,000 the second year for the Lynchburg Fire Department for technician training and equipment necessary for designation as a Regional Hazardous Materials Response Team.
E. The general fund revenues available for appropriation in the second year in Enactment No. 2 of this act reflect an authorization of $10.8 million pursuant to Executive Orders 59(99) and 60(99) and §146.28, Code of Virginia, for disaster relief for Tropical Storm Dennis and Hurricane Floyd. Included in this authorization is $1,237,400 for hazard mitigation assistance.
