A. Out of the amounts for Appellate Review shall be paid:
1. The annual salary of the Chief Judge, $111,700 from July 1, 1998, to November 24, 1998, $115,763 from November 25, 1998, to November 24, 1999, and $118,345 $120,354 from November 25, 1999, to June 30, 2000.
2. The annual salaries of the nine (9) judges, each at $110,700 from July 1, 1998, to November 24, 1998, $114,763 from November 25, 1998, to November 24, 1999, and $117,345 $119,354 from November 25, 1999, to June 30, 2000.
3. Salaries of the judges are to be 95% of the salaries of justices of the Supreme Court except for the Chief Judge, who shall receive an additional $1,000 annually.
4. To each judge, $6,500 the first year and $6,500 the second year, in lieu of travel, lodging, and all other expenses incurred incident to the conduct of the business of the Court.
B. There is hereby reappropriated the unexpended balance remaining at the close of business on June 30, 1998, in the appropriation made in Item 27, Chapter 924, Acts of Assembly of 1997, in the subprogram Other Court Costs and Allowances (Criminal Fund) and the balance remaining in this subprogram on June 30, 1999.
C. The amount of attorney's fees allowed counsel to indigent defendants in appeals to the Court of Appeals shall be in the discretion of the Court.
