The funds provided to the Virginia Land Conservation Fund shall be used to improve or protect water quality and to protect environmentally sensitive lands from degradation."

Explanation
(This amendment provides funds to the Virginia Land Conservation Foundation, formerly the Virginia Conservation and Recreation Foundation. The Foundation is chaired by the Secretary of Natural Resources, and will use the funds, along with matching money from localities and the private sector, to purchase fee simple or lesser property rights in land subject to categories detailed in statute and in budget language.)
