Authority: §§ 2.1-114.5:1 through 2.1-114.5:6, 15.2-1506, and 15.2-1507, Code of Virginia.

The Department of Employee Relations Counselors shall collect fees, estimated at $90,000, from state agencies and institutions of higher education for the cost of hearing officer services provided by in-house staff conducting grievance hearings. These funds shall be retained by the agency to pay the expenses of the hearing officers.
