Explanation
(This amendment reduces the agency appropriation by $1,417,590 the first year and $2,115,760 the second year from the general fund, based on adjusted requirements for private provider beds. A companion amendment to Item 347 transfers the first year amount to the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation, and Substance Abuse Services, for institutional and community services to juvenile offenders requiring restoration of competency to stand trial, pursuant to Senate Bill 1039 of the 1999 General Assembly.)
