Explanation
(This amendment would further the process of establishing a fire protection and incident response force for the waterways of Hampton Roads to enhance port safety. The Marine Incident Response Team is made up of 45 members from communities across Hampton Roads. This program works through a cooperative agreement with the Virginia Port Authority and the U.S. Navy.)
