Page 113, line 26, after "year.", insert:
"The calculation for half-day kindergarten programs shall be based on programs operating less than five and one-half hours and maintaining pupil-teacher ratios greater than 30 to 1."
Page 113, line 38, after "student.", insert:
"However, in the second year ADM is adjusted for half-day kindergarten at 95 percent of ADM for programs operating less than five and one-half hours if no single class is larger than 28 students with a teacher and a teacher's aide."

(This amendment clarifies current practice for determining when average daily membership (ADM) is adjusted for half-day kindergarten. It would also increase the proportion of funding provided for half-day kindergarten programs, if those programs met certain pupil to teacher and aide ratios.)
