Explanation
(This amendment expands a program which provides scholarships for undergraduate students, assistantships for graduate students, and funds to partially support an undergraduate and graduate summer research internship program focused on the recruitment and retention of highly qualified under-represented students in the Colleges of Agriculture and Life Sciences and related sciences programs at Virginia Tech. Funding of $132,500 each year is currently provided for the program in the budget of Virginia Tech.)
