Explanation
(This amendment authorizes the State Board for Community Colleges to enter into capital lease agreements for a period of up to 20 years for facilities for training programs. The facilities are: the Botetourt County Education and Training Center at Greenfield, a joint project of Dabney S. Lancaster and Virginia Western Community Colleges; the Virginia Peninsula Work Force Development Center at Thomas Nelson Community College; and Phase II of the Norfolk Campus of Tidewater Community College. The amendment also deletes language that is no longer relevant.)
