A. Out of this appropriation, $75,000 from the general fund and $400,000 from nongeneral funds the first year and $75,000 from the general fund and $400,000 from nongeneral funds the second year is designated to build research capacity in biomedical research and biomaterials engineering.


B. The Higher Education Operating fund source listed in this Item is considered to be a sum sufficient appropriation, which is an estimate of funding required by the college to cover sponsored program operations.
