This item contains $6.5 million in Virginia Public Building Authority bond authority, to repay the Treasury Loan authorized for this purpose in Chapter 847, 2008 Acts of Assembly, to support construction of an educational wing for the Virginia War Memorial and expand the Shrine of Memory to include Virginians killed in action in the War on Terror. These funds supplement $2.0 million in private funds bringing the total cost of this project to $9.1 million.
