A. Notwithstanding § 18.2-340.31C, Code of Virginia, any and all fees paid after June 30, 2003, by any organization conducting charitable gaming under a permit issued by the Department, including audit and administrative fees and permit fees, shall be deposited to the general fund.
B. The Department shall deposit into the Investigation Fund any assets it receives as a result of a law enforcement seizure and subsequent forfeiture by either a state or a federal court. The Fund shall be used to defray the expenses of the Department's investigation and enforcement actions and to purchase equipment for enforcement purposes.
