A. Amounts for Telecommunications Services include an internal service fund that shall be paid solely from revenues derived from charges for services. The estimated cost for Network-Data Services is $30,593,987 the first year and $30,593,987 the second year; for Voice Services, $33,097,041 the first year and $33,097,041 the second year; and for Video Services, $575,979 the first year and $575,979 the second year.
B. Also included in the amounts for Network-Data Services is $2,940,000 the first year and $3,087,000 the second year from the Acquisition Services Special Fund which is paid solely from receipts from vendor information technology contracts. These funds will be used to finance procurement and contracting activities and costs unallowable for federal fund reimbursement.
C. Political subdivisions and local school divisions are hereby authorized to purchase telecommunications goods and services of every description from Virginia Information Technologies Agency and its vendors, provided that such purchases are not prohibited by the terms and conditions of the department's contracts for such goods and services.
