The Virginia Community College System is authorized to adjust the scope of the project Renovate Science Building, Annandale Campus, Northern Virginia (16178), as authorized in 2002 (Chapters 827 and 859, 2002 Acts of Assembly), to include construction of an addition to the existing science building, as well as renovation of the existing building.  This has been determined to be a more cost-effective approach to renovation of laboratories in this facility and meets the programmatic intent of the project as previously authorized.
