Notwithstanding Title 15.2, Chapter 31, and § 30-19.03, Code of Virginia, the Commission on Local Government is hereby abolished, effective July 1, 2003. The powers and duties heretofore exercised by such agency shall hereafter be vested in the Department of Housing and Community Development.
