Explanation

(This amendment provides an additional $5.3 million GF to improve the South Entrance and campus security at Virginia State University. This amendment also removes the language, as proposed, prohibiting the University from acquiring property. This will allow an additional 17 parcels to be acquired for a continuous campus land area that can be reasonably secured from criminal activity.)
