Explanation

(This amendment provides $50,000 GF each year as a placeholder amount for the potential fiscal impact of Senate Bill 524, which permits a locality, by ordinance, to allow the installation of automatic water-based fire protection systems in new townhouse construction. The ordinance must require that installation be completed in compliance with certain National Fire Protection Association standards, requirements, and specifications.)
