Explanation

(This amendment provides $2.5 million each year from the general fund to strengthen and expand the existing state-contracted safety net brain injury services system by increasing the numbers of case managers, clubhouse staff, clinical professional staff and/or program support staff. Programs have waiting lists for services and programs struggle to meet existing demands from this challenging population that requires specialized support.)
