Page 526, after line 25, insert:

"A. The Commission shall report to the Governor and General Assembly by November 1, 2024, on the scope of its existing authority to consider the environmental and energy security benefits of use of waste coal and garbage of bituminous coal for electric generation in determining the reasonable and prudence of associated costs in any relevant proceeding before the Commission."

Explanation

(This language amendment directs the State Corporation Commission to report on its existing authority to consider the environmental and energy security benefits of use of waste coal and garbage of bituminous cola for electric generation.)
