Page 461, after line 17, insert:

"Included in the amount appropriated for this item is $3,000,000 the first year from the general to provide grants to localities in support of cancer screening and detection for career professional firefighters. The Department shall establish application guidelines and eligibility criteria for distribution of grant funds to localities."

Explanation

(This amendment provides $3.0 million the first year from the general fund to establish a grant program for localities to pay for cancer testing and screening for career professional firefighters.)
