Explanation

(This amendment adds $1.6 million each year from the general fund and $2.1 million each year from the nongeneral fund to modernize 211Virginia, a human service information and referral system mandated in Virginia State Code. This funding will provide a new system for the directory platform which is set to expire in December 2024. This will also allow 211 Virginia to be used as the Opioid Abatement Registry as passed by the General Assembly in the 2023 Session without funding.)
