Explanation

(This amendment provides $2.5 million the first year and $5.0 million the second year from the general fund for permanent supportive housing programs for individuals with serious mental illness. Permanent supportive housing is an evidence-based practice that combines affordable rental housing with community-based services to address the treatment, rehabilitative, and recovery support needs of participants.)
