Explanation

(This amendment provides $4.5 million each year from the general fund to make grants to members of the Virginia Association of Recovery Residents for recovery support services. The proposed amendment would direct the Virginia Association of Recovery Residences to ensure that members accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Peer Recovery Support Services (CAPRSS) receive 50 percent of the grants awarded, and that only members of CAPRSS receive grants for recovery support services.)
