"C. Out of this appropriation, $7,324,020 the first year and $11,963,028 the second year from the general fund is provided to establish a state-funded health coverage program for children under 19 years of age who are uninsured and would qualify for Medicaid or FAMIS except for their immigration status, consistent with the provisions of House Bill 970 of the 2024 General Assembly Session."

(This amendment includes $7.3 million the first year and $12.0 million the second year from the general fund pursuant to the passage of House Bill 970, which would create a state-funded comprehensive health care coverage program for individuals in Virginia who are under 19 years of age, are not covered under a group health plan or health insurance coverage, and but for their immigration status would be eligible for Virginia's Medicaid or FAMIS program.)
