Out of this appropriation, $150,000 the first year and $150,000 the second year shall be provided to the Virginia Department of Health Office of Maternal and Child Health to promote engagement in maternal and child health initiatives in Virginia private acute care hospitals. Funds may be used to implement Title V block grant initiatives and data analytics programs related to advancing health equity and reducing maternal health disparities."



Explanation

(This amendment provides $150,000 each year to the Virginia Department of Health Office of Maternal and Child Health to promote engagement in maternal and child health initiatives in Virginia private acute care hospitals. The funding may be used to implement Title V block grant initiatives and data analytics programs related to advancing health equity and reducing maternal health disparities.)
