Page 106, after line 25, insert:

"A. Out of this appropriation, $75,000 the first year from the general fund is provided to effectuate the provisions of House Bill 368 of the 2024 General Assembly."

Explanation

(This amendment provide $75,000 in fiscal year 2025 for the Department of Housing and Community Development to support a workgroup to evaluate and recommend revisions to the Uniform Statewide Building Code to permit Group R-2 occupancies to be served by a single exit, provided that the building is not more than six stories above grade plane.)
