"G. The Department shall convene a multidisciplinary task force to develop best practices for law enforcement to support trauma-informed care for survivors of child trafficking. The task force shall include representatives of the Department of State Police, Office of the Attorney General, local law enforcement, Attorneys for the Commonwealth, survivors, state and local departments of social services, and other appropriate stakeholders. The Department shall provide training for state and local law enforcement on such best practices.)



Explanation

(This amendment provides $50,000 GF the first year and $150,000 GF the second year for the Department of Criminal Justice Services to convene a multidisciplinary task force to develop best practices for law enforcement to support trauma-informed care for survivors of child trafficking, as well as provide training for state and local law enforcement on such best practices.)
