"L. Out of this appropriation, $75,000 the first year and $75,000 the second year from the general fund is provided for the Center for Real Estate Entrepreneurship to study factors that erode the ability to retain and increase the workforce and designated affordable housing. The Center shall submit recommendations to reverse this erosion to the Department of Housing and Community Development, the Speaker of the House, the Senate Committee on Local Government, the House Committee on Counties, Cities and Towns and the Housing Commission by June 30, 2024."



Explanation

(This amendment provides funding for George Mason’s Center for Real Estate Entrepreneurship to study factors that erode the ability to preserve and increase the workforce and designated affordable housing. The Center will submit recommendations to reverse this erosion to the Department of Housing and Community Development, the Speaker of the House, the Senate Committee on Local Government, the House Committee on Counties, Cities and Towns and the Housing Commission by June 30, 2024.)
