Explanation

(This amendment provides $16.6 million from the general fund for the required deposit to the Corrections Special Reserve Fund, pursuant to § 30-19.1:4, Code of Virginia, to reflect the estimated bedspace impact of House Bills affecting criminal sentencing adopted during the 2023 Session of the General Assembly.)
