Explanation

(This amendment increases the amount of relief provided for the victims of flooding in Tazewell and Buchanan counties in July of 2022 to $18.0 million. This amendment authorizes the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) to hire a temporary position to help administer this flood relief program. It also requires the DHCD to report on the outcomes of flood relief programs for the Hurley and Whitewood floods.)
